The meeting started with a prayer and The Pledge of Allegiance, led by Bob-KI4WEU.
Attendance:
The meeting was conducted by Club President, Bob-N4CU and there were 13 members present.
Secretary Report:
Minutes for June 2009 have been posted on W4AAZ.ORG website. Motion to accept the minutes as posted was made by Cal-W4GMH and seconded by Ron-KI5FR. Motion approved by a show of hands, no opposing votes.
Treasurer Report:
Bob-KI4MEU reported a current balance of $1519.24.
Repeater Report:
Ron-KI4FR, Bob-W5RE, and Cal-W4GMH discussed strobe noise back on the 147.360 repeater.
Training Report:
Ron-KI5FR reported he had no training scheduled. He did say that a club in Apalachicola, FL. would like to have some training for amateur's. He also discussed mobile satellite contacts that were made on Sunday July 5, 2009.
Website Report:
Phil-N6COP reported the dues for the website are now due totaling $70.35.
Bob-KI4WEU discussed a website “TWIAT.ORG.” (The week in Amateur Radio).
Station Report:
Bob-N4CU asked if anyone had some old equipment they would like to sell at the Milton Hamfest. No response.
Emergency Operation Center:
No report.
Activities Report:
Field Day after action report. Cal-W4GMH reported the Dorcus Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary held a yard sale and BBQ. They took in a little over $700 in proceeds. Also during Field Day, club members made 700+ contacts, making this one of our best Field Day scores in recent years.

Bob-N4CU pointed out there has to be a Motion to act on any activities. There was a round table discussion by members.
Bob-N4CU, Deputy Emergency Coordinator for Okaloosa County, presented a slide show on the State EOC meeting that he attended in Tallahassee, FL. on
June 20, 2009.
